School of Engineering and Computer Science strives to make knowledge an 'understanding' as well as 'habit' for students. The school always emphasizes upon 'learning by doing'. The 'understanding' of the undergraduate education prepares the student to pursue a career in industry or enroll in graduate studies. In graduate studies students are encouraged to 'experiment with the unknown' by engaging in fundamental and applied research. At the end, their 'understanding' becomes a 'habit' for them.
