The Bengali New year (Noboborsho-1418) was welcomed with high grace by the Iubians at their own permanent campus in Bashundhara. The programme was organised by the School of Engineering and Computer Science (SECS) OF IUB on the 3rd of April 2011. The function taking place residence entitled a new look by the vibrant colours that were embraced on them. A 6-hour cultural programme was displayed in front of the whole of IUB audience. The high colour decoration with urban look of Bangladesh was the main theme of the programme. The girls dressed in red and white sarees with the boys looking all handsome in punjabis. The programme was inaugrated by Prof M Omar Rahman, Vice Chancellor (in-charge), IUB and Prof Mohammed Anwer, Director, SECS.
