- In general, students who have completed the prerequisite courses prior to admission will be able to complete the required program in three semesters.

- Before starting the Masters program a student must have to his/her credit all the prerequisite courses listed below. Generally, students coming from non-computer science background will have to complete the full 30 credits of prerequisite courses. Students with baccalaureate degree in Computer Science or Engineering will not need to do some of the prerequisite courses.

- Upon admission, each student is assigned an adviser for guidance and direction in meeting degree requirements and academic goals.
